is to be noted that the diffusion coefficients as calculated from viscosity data, of methyl and ethyl alcohols follow an Arrhenius temperature dependence with activation energies of about 4 kcal/mole. While hydrogen bonding may well have a role in these liquids also, the absence of the extensive three-dimensional network probably makes its influence less important than in water. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
